Grilled Scallops
These Grilled Scallops are tender, buttery, and infused with bright citrus and savory garlic flavor. Seasoned with Johnny’s Seafood Seasoning and finished with a warm lemon-garlic butter, they make an elegant and delicious main or appetizer.
Grilled Scallops

Ingredients
- ¾ cup butter
- ⅔ cup chopped onions
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice

Johnny's Seafood Seasoning
- 1 ½ pounds sea scallops
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat the grill to medium and lightly oil the grates.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chopped onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in fresh lemon juice and Johnny’s Seafood Seasoning.
Place scallops in a bowl and pour the butter mixture over them, tossing gently to coat. Let sit for 2 minutes to absorb flavor.
Thread the scallops onto skewers or place in a grill basket. Grill for 4–5 minutes, turning once, until they’re firm and opaque.
Meanwhile, return any leftover butter mixture to the stove, bring to a boil, then reduce to low and keep warm.
Drizzle or brush the warm butter over the grilled scallops before serving.
