Whiskey Cheesburger Sliders

Ingredients
- 12-count slider buns, brioche buns or hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound of lean ground beef
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup freshly grated white sharp cheddar cheese
- sprinkle of sesame seeds
- ½ cup mayonnaise
-
2 tablespoons Johnny's Whiskey Sauce
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Keeping the slider rolls connected, slice them in half horizontally and place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Stir in ketchup and mustard until well combined.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayo and Johnny’s Whiskey Sauce to make the house sauce.
Layer sliced sharp cheddar on the bottom buns, then add the ground beef mixture. Drizzle generously with the house sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheddar.
Place the top buns over the filling, brush lightly with melted butter or olive oil, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown. Serve warm with extra house sauce on the side!
