Grilled Cheese
Directions
In a small bowl, create the garlic butter mixture by combining softened butter, Johnny’s Parmesan Garlic, and chopped fresh parsley. Set aside.
- Take each slice of bread and generously spread one side with about 1 tablespoon of the garlic butter mixture. Ensure that each bread slice is evenly coated with the mixture.
Heat a frying pan over medium-low heat and add 2 tablespoon of unsalted butter. Allow the butter to melt until it starts to sizzle.
- Place two slices of bread in the pan, buttered side down. On each slice, evenly sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Top each cheese-covered slice with another slice of bread, ensuring that the buttered side faces upwards.
- Cook the sandwiches until the bottom side is golden and crispy, which should take approximately 4-5 minutes. Flip them over and continue cooking until the other side achieves the same golden color.
- Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, carefully remove the grilled cheese sandwiches from the pan and serve immediately.
- Repeat the process with the remaining buttered bread slices, butter, and cheese.
