Ingredients Fish or Tofu 1 16 ounce block extra firm tofu OR or 16 oz of fish filets (un-breaded fresh or frozen)
1 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 tablespoon flour (regular or gluten free)
4 teaspoon Johnnys Jamaica Me Crazy Lemon Pepper

¼ cup breadcrumbs(regular or gluten free)
Sauce
(Optional) If you’re short on time, you can use Johnny’s Firecracker Sauce as a replacement for the sauce ingredients below!
½ cup vegetable broth
1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup 1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons cornstarch
Directions Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove the tofu from the package and drain off the extra liquid. (Skip this step if using fish)
Press tofu / or fish in paper towels or tea towel for 5 mins to soak up extra water.
Cut into 1 inch cubes and add to a bowl. (Skip this step if using fish)
Toss with the soy sauce/tamari, then the cornstarch, flour breadcrumbs and Johnny’s Jamaica Me Crazy Lemon Pepper
Dip/Toss until well combined. Place on a baking sheet lined with wire rack.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Baking time for fish will be slightly less around 15-20 mins
Meanwhile, whisk together all sauce ingredients in a small pot.
Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let simmer until thick, whisking regularly.
Remove from heat to let thicken further.
When the tofu is done, remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Transfer to a bowl and toss with the sauce. Serve immediately with rice and a veggie of choice.
