Fried Green Tomatoes
These Fried Green Tomatoes are crispy, golden, and full of Southern flavor. Coated in a seasoned cornmeal crust and fried to perfection, they're served with a zesty ranch dipping sauce made with Johnny’s Jamaica Me Crazy Sauce for an irresistible kick.

Ingredients
- 4 green tomatoes, cut into 1/4-inch slices

Johnny's Seasoning Salt to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt, divided
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper, divided
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 cups canola oil

Directions
Season tomato slices with salt and pepper and set aside.
Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, salt, and pepper; one with buttermilk; and one with cornmeal, parsley, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Dredge each tomato slice in the flour, dip into buttermilk, then press into the cornmeal mixture to coat.
Place coated slices on a baking sheet and let rest for 10–15 minutes.
Heat oil to 350°F and fry tomatoes in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crisp, then drain on paper towels.
Mix ranch dressing with Johnny’s Jamaica Me Crazy Sauce and a pinch of Johnny’s Seasoning Salt for dipping.
