In a bowl, combine olive oil, Johnny's Firecracker Sauce, garlic powder or minced garlic, and onion powder. Whisk thoroughly. Once mixed, reserve a portion of the marinade in a separate bowl for brushing after cooking.
Add the chicken to the remaining marinade in the bowl, ensuring it's well coated. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken, pineapple, and onions onto skewers. Brush extra marinade over the skewers, focusing on the pineapple and onions.
Grill the skewers for about 2-4 minutes per side until they're slightly charred, and the chicken is cooked through. Turn off heat.
Brush the skewers with additional marinade from the bowl separated at the beginning of the recipe. Let rest on the grill for an additional minute.
Remove the skewers from the grill and plate. Sprinkle sesame seeds and cilantro over the skewers and enjoy!
