Johnny's Avocado Toast
Ingredients
- One 8-ounce ripe avocado, halved, pitted and peeled

Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 4 slices whole grain or whole wheat bread
¼ tsp garlic oil
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or unsalted butter, softened
- Crushed red pepper flakes, optional
Directions
Select ripe avocados and slice them in half, removing the pits. In a broad bowl, use the tines of a fork to smash the avocados until they are creamy yet retain some texture. Sprinkle in some Johnny’s seasoning salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Take slices of your favorite bread and toast them to a golden-brown crispness. Instead of garlic, infuse the toast with a hint of garlic oil for a subtle flavor. Drizzle each slice lightly with a high-quality olive oil.
Spread the prepared avocado blend generously onto each slice of toast. Finish by garnishing with a pinch of Johnny's Seasoning Salt, an extra twist of cracked black pepper, and a dash of chili flakes for a little kick.
