This was our staple lunch for ski days and was so good. The formula has clearly changed. PLEASE change our back. The "new" formulation is terrible! I strongly suspect many of the current positive reviews are using up older inventory. There is no mistaking one for the other.
We had to doctor the soup with salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese just to approximate the flavor of the original. That helped, but the texture remained thin. We will try using less water next time. Please bring back the original version, one of our favorite comfort foods!
We LOVED this soup before. Had bought it several times. It was great plain or I'd add extras like corn or ham.
We just bought a new box from Costco and it was disgusting. So, so bland. It tasted like potato water. We added sour cream and cheese to make it somewhat palatable and still couldn't finish our bowls.
Came to notice your box now says it has "less sodium" so clearly the recipe changed... and it is BAD now. No idea what to do with this box to fix it.
Did you guys have people with covid taste-test it? Because that it honestly how bad it is.
My family loved the old recipe. The new one does not thicken properly and is bland. I had to add my own thickener and way more salt and pepper. Thinking I should of added cheese too. Would appreciate it if the original recipe was made available.
